  1. Not for nothing dude, but as I do like to try to fix things myself. That is one for the professional. Wouldn't do that not worth it.

  2. Chris Fix I LOVE your videos man!!! Something I wanted to add was I put a mirror on my dashboard so I could see what was happening without getting in and out of the car.

  3. This is an exceptional instructional video. You should also make a video on how to make a professional instructional video!

  4. What do you recommend for a lot of small pits that accumulate over the course of 10-15 years of driving. I have a windshield on a 97 chevy truck that is hard to see out of when sun is low in the sky and the hundreds if not thousands of little pits are almost a total glare.

  5. mine didnt work. the syringe wasnt good enough and it didnt remove any bubbles and kept blowing it's own seal out whenever I applied pressure causing it to blow the resin out of the hole and every where

  6. What if the chip is much smaller than a quarter but there are 5-6 cracks less than 4 inches coming from the chip. Is just filling the chip going to stop the cracks from spreading further?

  7. I had a small crack and used this video to repair it. Worked perfectly until i put too much pressure on the mount and formed a 3 inch long crack. I hate myself right now.

  8. having the camera on the inside showing the bubbles coming out and the resin being forced into the chip is a really nice and helpful touch, and it was very well edited into the right spots!

  9. Hi Chris! Can you please please show how to replace a windshield and maybe do a little repair if there is rust. I think it would be an awesome video. Thanks!

  10. I've watched the original video from 2014 and in follow up the 2017 video, this channel evolved a lot, great channel !

  11. Thank you for this very informative detailed video, definitely seems like you have experience on fixing cracked glass,,, I really appreciate how you showed the differences of glass . I’ve been watching a lot of videos on fixing cracked windshield your video is #1 for me .

  12. Nice video man. When you say don't repair the crack on the edge of the windshield. Can you clarify that, my crack is right on the middle of the black bar, but doesn't extend to the edge (1.2 inches from the edge). Should I repair it or replace it?? Thanks in advance!!

  13. Hey Chris, I watched the video where you remove a chip from the windshield. Good Job. When I've had others do this it never gets that good. One thing, you used the non 3M brand kit, and I know there are differences between the two. Would you mind fixing someone else's windshield with the 3M brand kit so we can all see how they are different? Thanks pal.

  14. Awesome 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

  15. So I just got a new car and a rock hit my windshield this morning while driving with my girlfriend the crack is just barely bigger than a quarter by maybe a hair width would this method still work?

  16. My chip also has several 2-3 inch cracks. If I fill the chip with resin will this stop the cracks from spreading or do I need to drill and fill the ends of the cracks with resin?

  17. I would still advice sending it to a professional, especially if you live in a country where labour charges are not comparatively high.

  18. Do you have any videos on fixing minor scratches on windshields? I got some debris under my wipers and it left a fine scratch in its passes.

  19. 3:07
Tempered glass gets hit by regular hammer “meh”.
Orange tool “imma bout end this mans whole career”.

  20. Excellent video – as a car repair idiot this video was supremely helpful. It had flow, made total sense, and had some other tips and tricks in there to set us up for success. You rock dude!

  21. For a easier fix for a chipped window.

Get some toothpaste and spread across the chipped area.
    Then watch the magic happen!

  22. At 2:50, I had wondered where'd that mohawk come from…then I realized it was your camera's wind muff. Hahaha. Thank you for the great video! Really thorough break down! =)
