  1. Blast from the past: SOS, linking a thug like inmate Peltier and his manufactured story of victimhood to genuine struggles for Indian survival. Lies and distortions served up in a crap sandwich for the consumption, and immortalized by author Peter Matthiessen, elevate an unrepentant cop-killer to hero status in what is a denigration of authentic Indian warriors and Indian spirituality. Now we know who Peter consulted for his "meticulously researched" story.

  2. @NDAA2012 was here. ~ You have been Tweeted. 😉 America's forgotten Political Prisoner(s) Leonard Peltier – Member of the American Indian Movement. Are you next? #NDAA

  3. Interesting, at approximately at 23:30 min – Puerto Rico, USA is mentioned in this video. I know a whole lot about that too.

  4. The most import points of this video did not come until the very last. If only mankind and government was not so greedy and ruthless against the powerless. 🙁 My family and I understand that tragedy all too well. We are refugees in our own nation because of gov corruption within the USA itself.

  5. I learned today in my class almost all the history teachers have said that native american have asian blod in them:O That means…….ASIANS WERE THE FIRST TO STEP INTO AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. funny that the problems suffer by these people now is problem of whites too. all the money has gone, the rights are now eroding away, and the freedom that you sing so hard about is imagery.
so maybe the idoit commentaries that have posted here want to read up on facts rather than stupid bias they have already.
I lived in south africa during 60's 70' and 80's I know what a police state looks like.
btw i am white, but fought apartheid till declared a banned person and exiled.

  7. Growing up with Natives all my life here in Oklahoma never fully realizing the bs that US government is was and will do really scary stuff!

  8. Why would you think that? I know that it just kills you and simom to know that Natives are still here And that we plan to be here LONG after your sorry asses are Gone!

  9. Neither fool, nor ignorant. I remember those times. Peltier could have chosen to uplift his people, instead he chose to be a force of violence, dissension and death (not even considering the FBI action).

  10. While the video is 30 years old, it's even more important with every passing day.

Russell Means, who has made recognition of the original treaty's Nation of Lakotah, and has invited those who wish to live within the beauty of the Lakota Way, while understanding that the US law is still recognized there, is gone from us all.

Leonard, writing recently suggests that all Indians should vote their beliefs in US elections, to help protect the land, and for their voice.

  11. Amnesty International still lists Leonard as a wrongfully imprisoned man.

When you study the facts about witness coercion, machinations of the FBI and the prosecution, suborning witnesses and false evidence, and the admission by the Parole commission back in 92 that Mr. Peltier has been wrongly convicted, you will hopefully raise your voice to free him.

  12. Take away all the folklore and Peltier rhetoric and nothing is left of this presentation. Not even close to the facts of this case. Peltier's own words, well beyond his conviction prove that he is not innocent. Mr. X…guess we need to forget about him. "And really, if necessary, I'd do it all over again." "I seen Joe (Stuntz) when he pulled it out of the trunk and I looked at him when he put in on (Coler's jacket), and he gave me a smile." Peltier wasn't in Seattle that day.

  13. Free Leonard Peltier than maybe the Native Americans down in Bolivia will free Jacob Ostreicher. Until then it's an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth!

  14. Any person on the side or TRUTH would understand that these men are right. Most of these freedoms in the US are only for "we the people", which is short for "the decedents of the colonist from Europe". It'll all turn around one day

  15. The guy is using a combover don't take him serious….if he is trying to hide his baldness he may as well be hiding other things and telling lies.

  16. Leanord and Steve are my Uncles…I pray for these people every day…Steve is no longer with us…Our government is corrupted!

  17. Steve in this video..he used to tease me..on his hand he has a missing finger. He used to act like His finger was just taken off and he would act like I did it to him. I was only like five years old and I used to get freaked out by it! lol

  18. Free Leonard Peltier, Mumia Abu Jamal, Oscar Lopez Rivera, Russell Shoatz, Bradley Manning, The Move 9, The Cuban 5, H.Rap Brown (Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin)!!!!

  19. leonard needs to be freed, the fbi needs to stand up and admit their wrong but I know that will never happen,my prayers are with leonard and his family.

  20. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Native Americans have superior DNA to that of Anglo-Saxon white people.

  21. doesnt matter and pointless to debate there are issues that are far more important than wondering who is better than who by the persons dna

  22. Why cant someone in power take on this case.its obvious that this guy was stitched up .Come on America do the right thing .Leonard Peltier has been locked up for a very long time .This case must be looked at.Nelson Mandela was locked away and everyone knew this was wrong. He was freed and look what he achieved. If there has been wrong doings its time they come to light.

  23. I was railroaded on a solid case, then I lost. I contested again began, appelate court over-ruled to be looked into 6-1, then after 2 appeals attorney hired from my Defense. Guess what, It was against what the Native. I lost, on Aprilette Judicial said; Due process of limitation. But he however, made into to Law never to happen again. For anyones case after me. What the FUk was that!

  24. Oh BULLSHIT!!! I live in South Dakota, and THEY are the ones who do nothing to better themselves. They get FREE education, medical (I'M an American and I can't free anything) They should put more emphasis on bettering themselves and less time being drunks…they were ALWAYS beggers and thieves. Come live in South Dakota and see how these people REALLY are. Stupid fucking Liberal.

  25. LEONARD PELTIER IS A MURDERER!!! DO your research!!! There is nothing honorable about that weasley son of a bitch let me tell you.

  26. Your comment cracks me up. I know that some of them are drunks and all that. I agree with you that people should not drink away their problems. But my god, genocide was done to them. Their land was stolen from them. Their whole way of life – just gone! I am not sure how any of us would handle such atrocity if we had to walk in their shoes… peace.

  27. Genocide my ass, they'd still be hunting buffalo and living in teepees if the white man hadn't come here. And if they're so worried about the past — then they need to give up every FREE benefit we gave to them. Including technology, their free fucking first of the month welfare checks, their free medical, free education, the casinos (which we gave them)…and go back to living in a cave. All they do is bitch about the white man, and do NOTHING to better themselves. Useless, drunk dying race.

  28. I normally do not keep responding but your comments hurt my heart. All this "free" stuff you talk of is crap. It would have been better that none of the terrible things had happened in the first place. But I see it does not matter what is said. You feel the way you do. I hope you will have a change of heart. Peace.

  29. You seem real busy filling up this video with shit..so let me hook you up. There are a bunch of YTnuts making lists. Shills get paychecks-paperwork, and trolls need homes-bridges…and metadata ain't just for ObamaBush UTAHnsaSPYcenterlovers anymore

Beware the nuts ….cause nuts in nut lives, from family nuts, to works nuts, to nuts is nuts
Find a hobby, before a nut finds one in you

  30. IN response to jack larson, where the body lacks a strong mind, the heart will never grow because it is weak as a whole, and the sense of self defense is even weaker because there is no strength in ignorance, it is as if the roundhouse of the life you live has knocked no sense into your brain, you are truly not a martial artist and those that you look up to would absolutely look down on you because of your ignorance…and so live as you choose you no affect to the true way of life….I have studied martial arts since seven and in your defense I can allow share pity with your in ability to grow as a true martial artist

  31. Wow your a real piece of shit aren't you jack larson. One day you will mouth off to the wrong native and then your education will begin.

  32. @Jack Larson: Substance abuse and dysfunction are the legacy of colonialism across the world, from Ireland to the favelas to the reservation. Every scrap your government concedes to these people has been paid for dearly with the lives of countless men, women and children. But it gives me comfort that that while you're busy denying your privilege, your government are busy wheedling it from under you with propaganda and false dichotomies. None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.

  33. Sometimes in life we have to fire with fire and that is the only fight that we might have left is to take over the government and get back what we need to mother land

  34. In case the truth matters, here are some truthful quotes:
    “This story is true.”
Leonard Peltier, assuring his supporters that a mysterious Mr. X shot the FBI agents, with what his lawyer, Mike Kuzma, later admitted was a complete concoction.
“Peter, you put my life in jeopardy and you put the lives of my family in jeopardy by putting that bullshit in your books. Why didn’t you call me and ask me if it was true?”
Dean Butler, chastising Peter Matthiessen for including Peltier’s lone alibi, Mr. X, in his book, In the Spirit of Crazy Horse. Note: An AIM member, David Hill, reportedly played the role of Mr. X in a video aired on American television.
“I seen Joe when he pulled it out of the trunk and I looked at him when he put it on, and he gave me a smile.”
Leonard Peltier, standing over the bodies of Jack Coler and Ron Williams, moments after their heads were blown off, commenting on Joe Stuntz wearing Jack Coler’s green FBI jacket taken from his car trunk, as quoted in Peter Matthiessen’s, In the Spirit of Crazy Horse.
“I didn’t think nothing about it at the time: all I could think of was, We got to get out of here!”
Leonard Peltier, reacting to Joe Stuntz wearing Jack Coler’s jacket, from In the Spirit of Crazy Horse. Peltier could hear the chatter over the FBI car radio from other agents who were racing to the scene and attempting to re-establish contact with Agent Williams in response to his calls for help.
“The motherf—er was begging for his life but I shot him anyway.”
Sworn testimony attributed to Leonard Peltier, boasting in the Marlon Brando motor home about shooting Ron Williams, as heard by Dennis Banks, Ka-Mook Banks, Bernie Lafferty, and (soon-to-be-murdered) Anna Mae Pictou Aquash. According to the autopsy report, Ron Williams died with his right hand held up in front of his face; there were powder burns on his fingers.

“The two witnesses testified outside the presence of the jury that after their testimony at trial, they had been threatened by Peltier himself that if they did not return to court and testify that their earlier testimony had been induced by F.B.I. threats, their lives would be in danger.”
    United States v. Peltier, 585 F. 2d 314, U.S. App. Decision September 14, 1978.
“There is no doubt that Leonard put a loaded gun in my mother’s mouth during one of her interrogations in June 1975. Six months later, other AIM members orchestrated my mother’s murder. Although I believe Leonard knows who was involved, he still refuses to cooperate in the ongoing murder investigation of my mother’s killers.”
Denise Maloney, daughter of Anna Mae Pictou Aquash

“This story that the government has admitted they don’t know who committed the murders comes from an out-of-context statement from prosecutor Lynn Crooks. Let me tell you something, I know Lynn Crooks and there is no one on the planet more convinced of Leonard’s guilt than Lynn Crooks.”
John M. Trimbach, author, American Indian Mafia.
"… the greater probability is that you yourself fired the fatal shots… It would be unjust to treat the slaying of these F.B.I. agents, while they lay wounded and helpless, as if your actions had been part of a gun battle. Neither the state of relations between Native American militants and law enforcement at the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation prior to June 26, 1975, nor the exchanges of gunfire between individuals at the Jumping Bull Compound and the law enforcement agents who arrived there during the hours after Agents Coler and Williams were murdered, explains or mitigates the crimes you committed…Your release on parole would promote disrespect for the law in contravention of 18 U.S.C…."
Leonard Peltier’s 1993 Parole Board, commenting on his aiding and abetting conviction.
“I never thought my commitment would mean sacrificing like this, but I was willing to do so nonetheless. And really, if necessary, I’d do it all over again, because it was the right thing to do.”
    Peltier’s statement to supporters, 2/6/2010.

  35. what about the time they made the feds leave.this was the second war the feds lost after veit nam . its not in the history books they teach our children. the feds cheated you then they will cheat you now. red black or white they will take your rights.give the natives the national parks .that would be a start.let them be the keeper of the land.expand the reservation.its only right

  36. Funny,is it not, that the white men who did the murders of native people that perpitrated Wounded Knee II  were never brought to justice.

  37. It's amazing that a group of people can steal a whole nation from another group of people who had lived on that land for centuries, kill their cattle, children, men and women denounce their religion and then put them on reservations, enslave another group of people to build their new stolen nation, then write a constitution as if it was theirs the whole time and not include in any positive way the people they had robbed and enslaved and expect their lives to peaceful and their reign to last forever.

  38. Venom you are a blooming Idiot. The people were here first. Why don't you see how much further you can stick your head up your ass.

  39. I fucking wish everyone would stop making those fucking slurping and smacking and gulping noises when they talk. It's annoying as fuck.

  40. That smart dressing, slick talking Neo- Liberal Obomber spent 8 years in office and never even reviewed this case! What a disappointment!

  41. I have only seen the first few minutes of incident of Oglala and the FBI shows up in un-marked cars and start shooting?  That should have been all the defense the Indians needed.  They didn't know who they were.  Self defense.

  42. Fan du chanteur Renaud c combat sont les notre sache quand France il y a des gens qui pensent à toi Léonard
